MARQUELL SEALS

Owner | Head Coach | Educator | Choreographer

Marquell Seals is a highly respected leader in the cheer and dance industry with an extraordinary 25-year journey as an athlete, performer, choreographer, and coach. With nearly two decades of coaching experience across youth, high school, NA, and All-Star programs, Marquell has left a lasting impact on the competitive cheer and dance world, building championship-level teams and transformative programs.

Renowned for his creative vision and results-driven coaching style, Marquell has led teams to over 200 national titles and countless podium finishes. His accolades include Best Choreography, Best Stunts, and Most Entertaining Team, along with multiple Program of the Year awards, a testament to his ability to cultivate excellence, innovation, and a winning culture at every level.

Marquell’s passion extends far beyond trophies. He is deeply committed to athlete development, confidence-building, and long-term growth. Known for working successfully with athletes from diverse backgrounds and skill levels, he takes immense pride in guiding young people as they set goals, overcome challenges, and realize their full potential, both on and off the mat.

Blending elite coaching with educational leadership, Marquell holds a master’s degree in education with a focus on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL). As an elementary school teacher in the local school district, he brings trauma-informed practices, relationship-centered coaching, and whole-child development into everything he does. His unique ability to integrate academic principles, mental wellness, and athletic performance sets him apart as a truly holistic coach and mentor.

Beyond the gym, Marquell has appeared on multiple television platforms, further solidifying his presence as a recognizable voice in cheer, dance, and youth development. Whether in the classroom, on the competition floor, or in the community, Marquell continues to inspire, uplift, and lead with purpose.

Coach Nya-Malia Agas brings energy, passion, and a lifelong love for cheerleading to everything she does at COA Elite. She began her cheerful journey at just 5 years old and has been dedicated to sport ever since, building a strong foundation as both an athlete and a coach.

With over 5 years of coaching experience, Coach Nya has coached competition cheer, stunt, and flexibility classes at COA Elite and Liberty High School. She is known for her positive spirit, technical focus, and ability to connect with athletes of all ages, helping them grow in confidence, skill, and performance quality.

In addition to her work at COA Elite, Coach Nya has been a valued member of the JAMZ Cheer & Dance staff since 2020. Through JAMZ, she has continued to sharpen her knowledge of stunting, dance, and tumbling, gaining exposure to elite-level training and competition standards. This experience has elevated her coaching approach and deepened her commitment to athlete development.

Coach Nya is passionate about creating a fun, supportive, and motivating environment where athletes feel encouraged to challenge themselves and celebrate their progress. Her dedication to growth, both her own and her athletes’, makes her an invaluable part of the COA Elite family.

JAMI

Coach | Polisher Specialist | Team Development Coach

Coach Jami brings passion, precision, and over eight years of coaching experience to everything she does at COA Elite. Her cheer journey began at just four years old, and she went on to cheer for fourteen years before transitioning into coaching, building a deep, lifelong connection to the sport.

Known as a true “polisher coach,” Coach Jami specializes in cleaning up teams, refining technique, sharpening performance quality, and turning good routines into great ones. She has a strong eye for detail and is highly skilled at improving timing, motions, spacing, and overall execution, making her an invaluable asset for teams preparing for competition.

One of Coach Jami’s greatest accomplishments is guiding and supporting athletes as they grow both on and off the mat. She is deeply committed to helping young athletes build confidence, master new skills, and reach goals they once thought were out of reach, all in a positive, encouraging, and supportive environment. passionate about creating meaningful connections with her athletes, celebrating every milestone, and helping teams reach their highest potential.

PAITYN

Coach | Team Leader | Stunt & Performance Specialist

Coach Paityn brings championship experience, leadership, and a no-nonsense work ethic to everything she does at COA Elite. She is a Summit Champion, having won The Summit in Orlando, Florida, with the California All Stars, one of the most prestigious titles in all of cheerleading.

In addition to her national success, Coach Paityn placed 3rd in the State of California with the Liberty Stunt Team and served as Team Captain for three years, demonstrating her exceptional leadership, discipline, and ability to elevate team performance. Her experience as both a top-level athlete and team leader gives her a strong understanding of what it takes to build winning, high-performing teams.

Known as a no-nonsense coach who gets results, Coach Paityn sets high standards and holds athletes accountable, while always leading with heart. She is deeply committed to helping athletes grow in confidence, skill, and mental toughness, and she builds strong, supportive relationships with her teams.

Coach Paityn loves her athletes and takes pride in pushing them to be their best, both on and off the mat. She is passionate about creating disciplined, focused, and motivated athletes who are prepared for competition and life beyond cheer.

MICHELLE

Front Office Administrator

Michelle is the friendly face and welcoming heart of COA Elite. As a dedicated cheer mom with a deep-rooted passion for sport, she has proudly been part of the COA Elite family since its very beginning.

Michelle is committed to creating a positive, supportive, and organized environment for both athletes and families. She takes pride in helping build a culture that empowers young athletes to grow in confidence, discipline, and character, both on and off the mat. Whether she’s assisting with registrations, answering questions, or supporting day-to-day operations, Michelle is always focused on making every family feel informed, valued, and cared for.

Growing up, Michelle loved cheerleading and dance, and she is excited to help the next generation of athletes discover their passion, purpose, and love for this incredible sport. Her genuine warmth, attention to detail, and dedication to the COA Elite community make her an invaluable part of our team. ALIESHA

Human Resources

Aliesha is a highly organized and dedicated professional who plays a vital role in keeping COA Elite running smoothly. She brings a strong background in leadership, operations, and people management, with over seven years of experience in office management, five years as a Human Resources Technician, and three years as an Executive Assistant.

Aliesha holds a master’s degree in business administration (MBA), which strengthens her strategic approach to human resources, organizational systems, and customer service. Her expertise allows her to effectively manage employee relations, administrative operations, and front office support in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

At COA Elite, Aliesha skillfully oversees human resources, administrative duties, and customer relations, ensuring families, athletes, and staff feel supported, informed, and valued. She is known for her professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to handle inquiries, records, and performance tracking with efficiency and care.

As a key member of the leadership and support team, Aliesha ensures smooth office operations through her strong knowledge of human resources, office management, and customer engagement. She also plays an important role in supporting staff professional development, coordinating training workshops, and assisting with presentations and ongoing growth initiatives.

Aliesha is passionate about creating a welcoming, organized, and high-performing environment for both families and staff. Her commitment to excellence and her people-first approach make her an invaluable part of the COA Elite family.

DANIELLE

Office Manager

Danielle is the welcoming heart and organizational backbone of COA Elite. She brings compassion, professionalism, and a deep commitment to family-centered service into everything she does. Her journey into the cheer and dance world began through her daughter, who has been an athlete for over 10 years, giving Danielle a firsthand understanding of the athlete and parent experience.

With a strong background working with non-profit organizations and school districts across the greater Sacramento area, Danielle has served as a Program Coordinator and has extensive experience facilitating workshops focused on healthy eating and physical activity, as well as coordinating community health fairs with partner organizations.

Danielle holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food and a Master of Public Health, which uniquely positions her to support both the physical and emotional well-being of athletes and families. Her passion for health, youth development, and education is reflected in her thoughtful, caring approach to her role at COA Elite.

Since joining COA Elite, Danielle has been deeply inspired by the incredible growth she witnesses in athletes. She finds it truly meaningful to see young people walk into the gym unsure of themselves, only to leave at the end of the season filled with confidence, pride, and belief in their abilities. She considers it a blessing to have a front-row seat to these powerful transformations.

Danielle takes great pride in helping cultivate a positive, transparent, and supportive gym culture. She is committed to open communication with parents and delivering high-quality service with warmth and care. Her goal is to ensure every family feels informed, valued, and confident in their experience at COA Elite.

Coach Kevin is a dynamic leader in the cheer and dance industry with over 21 years of experience as an athlete, performer, choreographer, and coach. Known for his high energy, creative vision, and championship mindset, Kevin has coached youth, high school, and NA teams, leaving a powerful mark on every program he’s been part of.

With an impressive record of success, Coach Kevin has led teams to over 35 national titles, establishing himself as a true force in competitive cheer and dance. His ability to blend technical precision with crowd-captivating performance quality has made him a standout coach and choreographer across the country.

Kevin specializes in hip hop, pom dance, and cheer choreography, bringing versatility, style, and innovation into every routine he creates. His coaching philosophy centers on discipline, confidence, and performance excellence, helping athletes elevate their skills while developing a strong sense of pride and teamwork.

Passionate about athlete development, Coach Kevin is committed to helping young performers grow both on and off the mat. He believes in pushing athletes to reach their highest potential while maintaining a fun, motivating, and supportive training environment.

Coach Kevin is excited to be a part of the COA Elite coaching staff and looks forward to inspiring the next generation of champions through elite training, creative choreography, and a love for the sport.

MADA

Rec Director

Coach Mada entered the world of gymnastics and tumbling at 7 years old. She joined her first school cheerleading team at 12 years old and transitioned the following year to a level 4 competitive cheer team where she truly fell in love with the sport. For the following 9 years she participated in all-star cheerleading where she was an athlete on multiple level 5 teams and competed at The Cheerleading Worlds.

She began her first year of coaching tumbling and cheerleading at 15 years old and became certified to coach levels 1-5 of tumbling early on. After many successful years of coaching, she still has the same passion for the two sports today.

In a brief break from her cheerleading and coaching career, Coach Mada worked at a physical therapy clinic as well as an orthopedic surgery center while obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. In her coaching today she enjoys incorporating this knowledge to her private lessons, tumbling classes, or cheer practices.

BROOKE - JUNIOR COACH

Hi, I’m Coach Brooke! My passion for cheer began at 4 years old. I have been mentored and trained by some of the best coaches! Now, I junior coach a few of our wonderful cheer and hip hop teams here at COA. I also coach many of our rec tumbling classes. My goal as a coach is to mentor young athletes in the same way that my coaches did for me!
